As a life long learner who enjoys every bit of it, I am enthused to enable education for the younger folk. Learning by tinkering has been my motto well before I learned about the word “motto”. I understand that education takes patience, and I am ready for the challenge.
My initial plan was to develop my career in IT. But after working at a summer school, I decided to make the switch.

Tukisiniarvik School - Science & Mathematics Teacher for Secondary
2023 - 2024 Academic year (fulltime)
Tukisiniarvik school is located in indigenous community of Akulivik, QC and operates as part of Kativik Ilisarniliriniq School Board.
Main roles:
- Science teacher for all secondary students in English sector.
- Mathematics teacher for secondary 3 & 4 students in English sector.
Other roles:
- Behaviour committee: My team and I seeked ways to make our school a safer place for everybody. This includes finding the problems, discussing possible issues with all staff, organizing events to educate everybody about the rules, and encouraging good behaviour through reward programs.
- Education Technology Lead: Helping staff with everything IT to ensure that adoption of technology into classrooms is as smooth as it can be. This includes helping my colleagues with face to face meeting, and making guides on how to use their laptops, educaitonal sites, and other equipment.
- Point Of Contact: on premise IT support for all staff. I also acted as eyes and hands of Kativik Ilisarniliriniq’s IT department in Montreal when sending technician to North was not immediately possible.
