When I am browsing internet, I sometimes see images replaced with ugly placeholders because whoever uploaded that image, used a free hosting platform. I am not shaming anybody for not being able to afford and keep paying for a hosting service. But it is not fun to see a "No image available" placeholder rather than that image, picture, graph or whatever it was. Sometimes it was part of a tutorial, but now it is nothing but lost knowledge.
I know there is 🏛 Wayback Machine but internet archive cannot possibly crawl every site all the time. Some sites went under before Internet Archive could crawl them.
